Lancers Sign Tough Wing Joseph Jean

TORRINGTON, Wyo. – Eastern Wyoming Men's Basketball is thrilled to announce the signing of Joseph Jean; a 6'5" wing out of Miami Sr. High School. Miami Sr. High is one of the most decorated basketball programs in the state of Florida; as they have won a record eight boys basketball state championships.

Joseph was a two-year starter at Miami Sr. High and helped lead the team to 45 wins over the past two seasons; which included deep playoff runs ended each year by national powerhouse Columbus High School. In his senior year, Joseph led the Stingrays with 12 double-doubles, was the Don Stewart Invitational MVP, and was voted 2 nd Team All-Dade County.

"Joseph is a big wing that has the potential to be a monster on the glass, he can take the ball off the rim and lead the break and is just as adept at facing guys up and beating them off the dribble or backing them down. Joseph's size, physicality, and grittiness give him the potential to guard 1-5 and become a force in Region IX" said EWC Head Coach Bill Engel.
