TORRINGTON, Wyo. — Eastern Wyoming College Volleyball welcomes Keira Bassett of Lehi, Utah, to the Lancer Volleyball Team for the upcoming season.

Bassett, a setter/right-side hitter from Skyridge High School, joins the Lancers with an impressive résumé that includes Academic All-State honors in Utah and two state championship titles. She was also recognized as Skyridge High School's Athlete of the Month for her accomplishments on and off the court.

Known for her versatility, leadership and competitive drive, Bassett brings a strong all-around game to Eastern Wyoming College. Her ability to contribute in multiple positions and maintain a high level of play makes her an exciting addition to the program.

Head Volleyball Coach George Hamilton said Bassett's championship experience and academic success stood out throughout the recruiting process.

"Keira is a tremendous competitor and an outstanding student-athlete," Hamilton said. "She understands what it takes to win, and her versatility gives us a lot of options on the court. We're excited to welcome her to the Lancer family."

Bassett will begin her collegiate volleyball career this fall as Eastern Wyoming College continues building a competitive presence in Region IX play.
